Our patented hardware / cloud platform sits at the intersection of important trends in wireless (4G / LTE), IoT, cloud, solar, and SaaS.

Summary :

Reporting to Product in our Golden, Colorado HQ, the UI / UX Designer will be a key member of our design team, working with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing doing hands-on design.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, has a strong understanding of the software industry, and is eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities :

Lead the design of user interfaces for Sensera Systems SaaS applications, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience across all platforms, including both mobile and desktop.

Specific deliverables may include wireframes, prototypes, user flow diagrams, user journeys, low fidelity mockups, high-fidelity visual designs, and other deliverables as appropriate.

• Conduct user research, analyze data, and apply insights to continually improve the user experience.
• Work closely with the product and development teams during implementation to ensure that design concepts are translated into fully functional and visually compelling features.
• Take charge of marketing design projects as needed, including the Sensera website, designing promotional materials, creating email templates, and maintaining brand consistency across all channels.
• Develop and maintain Sensera’s visual identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints, including SaaS products, website, social media, packaging, printed materials, and promotional items.
• Help to manage complex design projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in both UI / UX and graphic design, with a strong portfolio highlighting work across software products for both desktop and eventually mobile platforms, as well as marketing materials.
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture, ensuring that designs are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user centric.
• Experience with creating a design system.
• Proven experience in conducting user research, analyzing data, and applying insights to improve user experience.
• Knowledge of how implementation is done and experience designing using this knowledge.
• Ability to develop using HTML, CSS, and JS is a plus but knowledge of how it is used to implement designs is a requirement.
• Strong ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee complex design projects from concept to completion.
• Must be excited to commute to the HQ in Golden, Colorado at least 3 days per week.
