We are a highly-rated family dental practice in the South Denver area near Park Meadows. We are growing and adding an EDDA-Dental Assistant to our team.
Our team consists of responsible, hard-working, and patient-oriented staff members. We seek to add a new EDDA-Dental Assistant with a similar thought process and desire to be their best daily.
This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday. If you are an EDDA-Dental Assistant with three or more years of experience working in General Dentistry.

Responsibilities :
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist with dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure aseptic technique is followed
- Manage dental supplies inventory and order as needed
- Schedule patient appointments and handle dental receptionist duties as required Benefits :

Requirements
- Valid certification as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
- Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and operating CAD systems
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and interpretation of results is a plus
- Familiarity with taking vital signs and recording patient information accurately
Salary Description $24 to $29 / hr
