Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Technical Editor / Writer Lead in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Positions will be based at global Army training site in Orlando, FL. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Produces and oversees the development of high-quality documentation that supports project execution and compliance.
• Performs annual maintenance and updates to the Government's Library, preparing clear, well-structured, search-friendly content.

Identifies and prepares documentation for business proprietary or sensitive data for government review for requests to exclude from the Government Library.

• Creates and modifies user manuals and guidelines to inventory and accountability management system.
• Generates coherent and detailed reports encompassing EOH, equipment loans, operational readiness, and utilization to support transparency and facilitate operational decisions.
• The Technical Editor / Writer Lead ensures all documents are prepared following organizational and federal guidelines and delivered to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Qualifications

10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
