MAJOR FUNCTION :
This is an exciting opportunity in the Mullica Hill operating room for an experienced or new graduate Physician Assistant .
You will work alongside our talented surgeons who perform general, vascular, urology, oncology, orthopedic and reconstructive procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to; preparing patients for the OR, coordinating equipment needs and assisting surgeons intraoperatively.
We are seeking a team player who has procedural and sterile technique knowledge.
This position will be three 12-hour shifts per week without call, weekend, or holiday coverage.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education & Experience :
Graduate of an accredited school of PA and certified for practicing PA in NJ.
Certification / Licensure :
- Certified for Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current registration with NJ State Board of PA.
- BLS certification, ACLS preferred.
Knowledge & Skills :
High quality PA competence and advanced leadership skills.
