Geisinger ConvenientCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team as a flex per diem for various clinics in the northeast.

Job Duties :

This position is a flex / per diem urgent care position for external hires, not for b-coding.

Clinicians diagnose and treat common medical problems including : Sore throats, earaches, sinus infections, flu, and urinary tract infections.

Clinicians also provide : Routine health exams, immunizations, screenings, and wellness services.

Office Hours - Monday - Friday 8 : 45 am 8 : 15 pm

Saturday & Sunday 7 : 45 am 6 : 15 pm

• Work autonomously with limited administrative burden.
• Access to Geisinger’s vast network of resources and specialists.
• Work in comfort - Scrub business attire.

Education and experience (Required) : Due to the autonomous nature of the position, advanced practitioners must be able to treat patients from age one and older, and h ave at minimum six months of professional experience in primary care, emergency medicine, urgent care, or critical care .

This does not include experience received during student rotations.
