Description

Looking for an experienced outside and inside plant field technician. Candidate will be responsible for field data collection in the eastern Ohio area.

Requirements will include but are not limited to capturing and submitting data using various types of electronic GIS equipment, and accurately evaluating and capturing existing telecommunication plant conditions.

Work may involve walking one or more miles on a daily basis while collecting data. On the job training in the use of electronic equipment required to complete the work as well as outside plant utility recognition / design will be provided.

Previous experience with utility construction in an outside plant environment, as well as experience reading or designing utility work prints is preferred but not required.

Typically requires formal technical training beyond high school and two to four years related experience. Ability to travel out of state is required.
