Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Oncology Chemo Certified Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (06 : 45 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : Active Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, ONS / ONCC, Chemo cert, and Biotherapy cert required Must-Have : - Epic experience Job Description : Administration of chemotherapy- Body fluid handling post-chemotherapy- Continuous infusion of chemotherapy- IV push administration of chemotherapy- Management and disposal of cytotoxic spills- Monitor chemotherapy- Oral administration of chemotherapy- Recognize and communicate abnormal lab values- Post-surgical care- Radiation safety precautions- Total Body Irradiation (TBI)- Wound care- Symptom management- Alterations in skin and mucous membranes- Altered mental status- Constipation / diarrhea- Dysphagia- Edema- Nausea / vomiting- Neuropathy- Awareness of advanced directives- Hospice care- Patient and family education and support- Colostomy care and management- Foley catheter insertion / management- Isolation precautions- Neutropenic precautions- Phlebotomy skills- Telemetry interpretation- Telemetry monitoring Additional Requirements : Flu vaccine is required, with medical / religious exemptions only- Candidates living within a specific distance considered as local- Ability to request limited non-consecutive days off, subject to specific guidelines during holiday season- Submission requires state-issued ID and specified documentation prior to consideration for roles.
