WORK ARRANGEMENT : 100% Onsite, In-Office 5 Days / Week

REPORTING LOCATION : Napa, CA

SALARY RANGE : $35.90 $48.72

Founded in San Francisco in 1902, the LightHouse’s purpose is to promote the independence, equality and self-reliance of people who are blind or visually impaired.

The LightHouse is currently in a period of growth, increasing our capacity to serve more low-vision and blind clients.

OVERVIEW

The Guest and Event Services Manager will oversee and enhance the hospitality operations at LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

This role involves managing and expanding the rental business, coordinating events, and supervising Guest and Event Service Associates across multiple locations.

The Manager will ensure seamless guest experiences and maintain high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests.

The Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of LightHouse’s hospitality offerings, contributing to the overall mission and success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field.
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with peers.
  • Familiarity with web-based event planning tools such as Eventbrite, Evite, or similar platforms.
  • Strong computer technology skills in Microsoft Office Suite : including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to travel independently to all sites as needed
  • Sit at a desk and perform computer-intensive work for long periods of time

  • Ability to carry or transport 30lbs
