POSITION TITLE : Director International Digital Commerce
REPORTS TO : Vice President International Technology, Digital and Logistics
LOCATION : New York, NY
POSITION SUMMARY :
The Director of International Digital Commerce supports the global expansion of our e-commerce business, allowing us to have a consistent digital presence across the globe.
This New York based role will be a key partner to internal international teams, regional e-commerce leaders in our owned / operated markets and our international franchisee partner organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Support the growth of international e-commerce business with a focus on supporting owned & operated markets, key franchise partners as well as third party marketplaces
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to geos during critical digital projects including the launch of additional sites, marketplaces and expansion of AEO brands internationally
- Global performance marketing vendors relationship management, leverage across markets and support Agency management to the regional ecommerce leads
- Champion Customer strategy to establish a Center of Excellence in driving CRM and Customer data analytics
- Build and maintain digital playbook, establishing and improving process and tools needed to set up and enable ecommerce business in markets outside of the US
- Establish training required to operate business in line with AEO standards / practices
- Understand the requirements for each country (product, marketing, technology, logistics, etc.)
- Act as a key partner to the regional ecommerce leads to ensure consistency of customer experience in all markets, and provide best practices leveraging learnings from US and across multiple geos
- Act as interface between in-market teams and US based teams, serving as Corporate Lead
- Partner with Digital Product Management to ensure International projects are included in overall corporate roadmaps
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 10+ years of related experience in e-commerce / international landscape
- eCommerce P&L experience desired
- Travel is required, including the potential for international travel
- Strong ability to influence and take ownership
- Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, & planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak multiple languages a plus
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- 2-3 days in NYC office required weekly

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
