About The Position
Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse, Cardiovascular Medicine - Days Job Specialty : Registered Nurse / Licensed - Outpatient Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Preferred experience with direct patient care;
Additional specialty experience may be required License : Current / active license as a registered nurse in the State, either Single State or Multi-state Compact Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - ACLS / PALS may be required in some practice areas Must-Have : - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Must possess a current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire Job Description : Be a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care.
- Practice within a clinical environment supported by a professional practice model, using evidence-based practices and research.
- Engage in the Nursing Process : assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Coordinate care through effective partnerships, ensuring optimal patient care outcomes.- Provide documentation of patient care, engaging in diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.- Engage in performance improvement, nursing research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Serve as a preceptor and / or mentor for other professional nurses to ensure a current and future qualified workforce.- Participate in data collection and consult appropriate experts to address best practice outcomes.
- Support efficient and effective use of human and material resources.- Comply with all organizational policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
