National Lender is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join our team!

A&D Mortgage offers a full spectrum of innovative lending products to meet a home buyer's mortgage needs. We are looking to hire a qualified, experienced, and self-motivated Controller with experience with a financial organization.
The Controller will oversee people, processes, and technologies within a company and adhere to high-quality standards, and facilitate business growth.
Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities
- Preparation of daily accounting transactions
- A complete market value analysis of investments and prepare pricing in the personal finance system
- Complete monthly and quarterly investment reporting and ad hoc requests
- Assist the treasury function as needed. This would include daily investment reconciliations, banking relations, initiating wires, processing contributions, and distributions.
- Ensure all investment and commissions transactions are in accordance with applicable authority, policies, procedures and recorded consistently
- For any limited liability corporation with outside investors, perform investor relations function and maintain accurate equity accounts
- For investment funds, prepare and maintain timely and accurate net asset values, yields, distributions, capital statements, and all tax-related requests
- Perform inter-company investment reconciliations
- Maintain and ensure on-demand reports are working and reflect accurate information
- Evaluate internal controls and business processes to identify process improve
- Able to complete investment and commissions reconciliations
- Research complex issues and suggest resolutions
- Examine a variety of legal documents to verify accuracy of computations
- Communicate effectively and timely via email, phone, and meetings
- Assist with special projects as necessary
- Perform other duties as required within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and / or Master's degree in accounting or finance
- Certified Public Accountant
- 5 years of accounting and / or finance experience
- Experience in fund accounting or partnership accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel and quick to pick up new technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to research and problem solve
