About The Position

A facility is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

L'Anse, Michigan, offers a range of outdoor activities for nature enthusiasts. Enjoy hiking and exploring the picturesque waterfalls at Canyon Falls and Falls River, or spend a day fishing, boating, or swimming in Lake Superior.

The scenic beauty of the Keweenaw Peninsula also provides excellent opportunities for camping and wildlife observation.

This position offers 24-hour shifts from 9 a.m. to 9 a.m., with solo MD coverage. The ideal candidate should be comfortable treating patients of all ages and proficient in emergency room procedures.

Requirements include an active Michigan license and DEA, board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine, and active certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.

The facility uses the CPSI EMR system and can grant emergency privileges for credentialing. Travel and lodging are covered.
