What's this role about?

  • Identify potential target clients through lead generation strategies, cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
  • Be responsible for owning and achieving an agreed revenue target by developing new private equity client relationships, responding to their due diligence and post-deal requirements (leading and guiding clients as required).
  • Expected to generate net new leads with target private equity funds and develop an active deal pipeline throughout the year
  • Understand the PE deal life cycle process, able to produce and deliver pitches
  • Execute an end-to-end client sales cycle focused on the sales process from the acquisition of new clients to closing deals and driving revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects by researching and contacting prospects in alignment with sales goals.
  • Negotiate, manage, and close new deals.
  • Build revenue-generating relationships with investment professionals in key Private Equity funds, Corporate Finance partners, strategy advisors, and other key players in our ecosystem in the US.
  • Work with the broader business development team to define, implement, and maintain the company’s Sales and Marketing strategy.
  • Ensure the consistent application of all required internal processes, standards, templates, etc. in support of the company’s sales and marketing activities.
  • Contributing to and supporting the future growth and expansion of the Endava Private Equity Sector as it expands its service offerings and grows in North America.

What skills and experience do you need?

10 years of business development and sales experience, owning and delivering revenue targets and general commercial management, preferably with first-hand knowledge of Private Equity and transactional services.

An understanding of how technology can be leveraged for value creation is essential.

  • Existing relationships with private equity deal teams are a plus
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, resilient, and results-driven individual with strong commercial acumen
  • Strong general technical awareness and the ability to position effectively technical subject matter to an increasingly tech-savvy audience.
  • Experienced in writing and presenting compelling propositions to clients and stakeholders to a high standard along with excellent core sales skills.
  • Ability to build and grow relationships and manage complex stakeholder environments internally and externally.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets. Additional Requirements : Travel is an integral part of a Sales role and the individual will need to travel locally, within country, and internationally as needed to perform the role (they should have a valid passport / driving license and be prepared to travel in working hours as needed by the company).

Work-related tradeshows or live events may require the individual to occasionally lift 25 pounds

Pay ranges available upon request. Exact compensation for each role varies based on many factors including (but not limited to) geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
