Job Title : Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
Pharmacy Name : SAI Apteka Pharmacy
Location : 151 Nassau Ave, Brooklyn, NY - 11222
Compensation : $60 -$75

Key Responsibilities :
- Medication Dispensing : Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
- Patient Counseling : Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
- Controlled Substances Management : Maintain precise records and responsibly manage controlled substances.
- Staff Training : Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices.
- Collaborative Care : Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.
- Inventory Management : Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
- Insurance Processing : Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements.
- Customer Service : Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns.
Job Requirements :
- Required : Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations.
- Required : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
- Preferred : 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
Skills :
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to providing outstanding patient care.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Experience in inventory management and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Proven success in managing a pharmacy team effectively.
