- Support Staff : Surgical techs in OR, Transplant Administrator, Transplant Coordinators (all BSNs), Transplant Multidisc team as required by CMS; NP available (IP)
- Duties :
- Transplant Call, screening / accepting / declining deceased donor kidneys
- Collaborate w / the on-call Transplant Coordinator to bring transplant candidate in for potential transplant
- Rounding on transplant patients in the hospital less than 90 days from transplant in collaboration w / the Transplant Nephrologist.
- Collaborate w / IP staff, Tx Nephrologist & Tx NP can assist w / IP throughput (Transplant admin & coordinators can assist in navigating transplant candidate throughout.
Coordinators call patients in for transplants but do not triage sick calls on acute transplant.
- Required Procedures :
- Kidney Transplant w / o Recipient Nephrectomy
- Preferred : Lap donor nephrectomy
- Trauma Level : I
- EMR : Epic

- Locum is welcome to attend the weekly Selection Committee meeting.
- Locum does not need to supervise NP.
