Bachmans was founded in 1885 and remains a family-owned business, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today.

Bachmans operates six full-service Floral, Gift & Garden Centers throughout the Twin Cities, urban gift shops in US Bank Plaza and the Galleria, a Hardscapes Center in Farmington, and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores.

Additionally, Bachmans operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a weddings and special events department, a wholesale nursery division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Lakeville, Minn.

which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachmans today.

DUTIES :

• Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of merchandise, supplies and equipment to customers and stores.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Provide excellent customer service and ability to respond to customer concerns
• Organize loads by location, load and unload vehicle.
• Properly handle returned merchandise or waste.
• Ensure the proper, safe repair of vehicle by informing supervisor or motor shop. Ensure cleanliness of vehicle.
• Assist with wrapping and other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum of 21 years of age and has a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have and maintain a valid class C drivers license. Class B license strongly preferred.
• Must be able to move and / or lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Must be insurable with Bachmans insurance carrier, maintain compliance with Bachmans driving standards and have an acceptable MVR report.
• Ability to use and navigate via navigation apps. Knowledge of metropolitan area
• Ability to pull and organize loads based on location.
• At least 1 year previous experience delivery experience.
• Ability speak English and communicate with customer effectively to resolve issues.

HOURS :

Monday-Saturday plus some holidays. Hours generally 7 : 30am -5 : 00pm with some overtime.
