Occupational Therapy - Intensive Home-based - Midtown NYC - EVENINGS!

Immediate opportunities :

• 1 : 1 intensive self-care and leisure activities program using an OT clinical approach
• Home-based and community-based in Midtown, NYC
• Evening hours : Monday-Sunday between 6 : 00-10 : 00pm - 2-4 hour shifts, 2-3 evenings per week with on-call possibilities.
• Work as a team of OTs to support this student (see below)
• Can be combined with daytime school caseloads and day / afternoon clinic work (as caseloads are available). Note interest during application process.

Roles Available

For immediate hire, we have a unique opportunity for a few therapists to provide a direct 1 : 1 intensive self-care and leisure activities program in a home setting for a child with a unique diagnosis and collection of needs.

This particular opportunity is in midtown Manhattan and will be for the evening hours between 6-10 pm several days per week.

Seeking 7 days per week - Mon-Sun coverage as a multiple-therapist job share situationl)

During the summer months, this case will also be seeking an evening OT several days per week at the shore in Deal, NJ (transportation may be paid).

Hanging out at the shore for the summer? Go the beach during the day and work in the evenings. (NY & NJ OT License preferred.

Schedule :

• Monday to Sunday between 6-10pm , 2-4 hours per shifts
• Weekend availability

Our center is a multi-disciplinary center that includes OTs, PTs, Special Education teachers and works directly with a on-site speech therapy group.

We offer traditional yet holistic Occupational Therapy including advanced programming and specialty treatment approaches that are not available elsewhere in Manhattan.

We offer services to children and adults, with most of our clients between 2 and 12 years old. We recently expanded into a 5600 square facility with multi-spaces for therapy and coaching with new play equipment on the way.

Applicant expectations

Applicants must have prior pediatric experience (*Senior level therapists >

8 years experience).

• Applicants must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, creative and confidence working independently.
• Applicants must be willing to work in a small, personable setting with an abundance of resources.
• Applicants must be confident.
• Applicants must be good at communicating.
• Applicants must be creative.
• Applicants must love being an occupational therapist.
• Applicants must be willing to invest in themselves through mentorship and continuing education
• Applicant must be licensed in NY State and carry Professional Liability insurance.

PAY : Pay rate will depend on experience, contracts / locations you are willing to take and your performance. If you also bring clients into the center we will reward you.

For the right candidates, a premium rate will be paid for this case. Multiple hours paid at one site.
