Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a company based in Oldsmar, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work for a leading manufacturer specializing in the coating process.

Pay Rate :

$16-$17 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule and Hours :

1st shift Monday - Friday from 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm

2nd shift Monday Friday from 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Duties and Responsibilities :

• Receive incoming materials and products, verify quantities, and purchase orders, and inspect for damages or defects.
• Prepare shipments of finished products, ensuring accuracy in item selection, packing, and labeling.
• Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments using inventory management systems.
• Process shipment documentation, maintain shipping logs, and inspect completed orders.
• Ensure compliance with shipping and receiving policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to prioritize orders.

Shipping and Receiving Clerk Qualifications & Requirements :

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of proven experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management software such as Fed Ex and UPS and proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move objects (up to 50 lbs.) and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
