job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using the latest diagnostic tools and software. Execute repairs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and other team members to ensure accurate documentation and customer satisfaction. Complete repair orders and documentation clearly and thoroughly. Maintain an organized, clean workspace and properly handle tools and equipment. Stay current on factory bulletins, technical service updates, and training certifications. Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper performance. Uphold dealership and manufacturer standards for quality, professionalism, and integrity. Must be a Certified Automotive Technician (ASE or manufacturer-certified preferred). Minimum 2 years of professional technician or mechanic experience in an automotive dealership or repair facility. Experience working with Volkswagen, Subaru, or Kia vehicles is a plus but not required. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
