Company Description

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Yard Hostler is responsible for ensuring that trailers are moved within our yard in a safe and efficient manner by utilizing a Terminal Tractor. Yard Hostler is also responsible for yard management, good housekeeping, and ensuring that yard rules / standards are being adhered to.

Week 1 : Friday – Sunday 5am – 5 : 30pm

Week 2 : Thursday – Sunday 5am – 5 : 30pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SAFETY

• Ensure effective and safe use of all equipment and PPE (personal protective equipment) as needed
• Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain energy source for Terminal Tractor and other equipment as needed
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures provided by the company or any regulatory entities
• Safely operate a Terminal Tractor to move trailers in and out of the dock doors and parking stalls

The compensation for this position includes base + bonus target : $21.00 per hour; $2 shift differential; 5% target quarterly bonus

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
