Job Title : Quality Control Inspector
Job Description
- Perform inspections of parts according to well-defined criteria using standard visual, physical, mechanical and / or electrical measurements.
- Ability to perform visual inspection on large lot sizes under a microscope.- Accurately document the results of inspections and testing.
- Maintain all controlled documentation files and test records in a timely manner.- Perform data entry into a computer.- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
Raises : Eligible for a $0.50 raise after 3 months, and an additional $0.50 raise after 6 months.
Hard Skills
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Medical device experience (a plus)
- Ability to use inspection gauges and microscopes
- Follow SOPs and inspection procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge in GMP
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Danvers, Massachusetts.
Work Environment
This is NOT in a cleanroom environment. There is no PPE required. The quality department has about 10-12 employees. Contractors get their own bench.
This department area is shared with the warehouse team and they are constantly interacting.
