About The Position
Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) Job Specialty : Sterile Processing Job Duration : 6 Months Shift : Mid (2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience required.
Prior lead or educator experience preferred.- First-time travelers accepted. License : Compact or LA license required at time of submittal.
Certifications : CRCST or CSPDT required.- AHA certifications required. Must-Have : Experience using special equipment such as Sterilizer, Sterrad Machine, Ultrasonic (CaviWave, Medisafe, Belimed).
- Medical / Religious exemptions only for COVID-19 and Flu vaccines.- RTO must be indicated on profile.- Extensive RTO requests not approved.
- No local travelers accepted (must be over 65 miles from site address). Job Description : Complete additional checklist as required.
- Orientation of 8 hours required.- Facility does not accept call-ins.- Conduct sterilization processes and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.- Communicate effectively with staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Provide training and guidance to other staff as needed.- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment.
Note : Please ensure references from two Managers / Supervisors are available to obtain clearance to start the contract.
