Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Expertise : Operate state-of-the-art radiographic equipment under the supervision of cardiologists and radiologists to acquire high-quality images during interventional angiographic and therapeutic procedures.

Patient Care : Demonstrate proficiency in providing compassionate care to patients of all ages pediatric, adult, and geriatric throughout the interventional process, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Procedural Assistance : Skillfully assist physicians during cardiac, peripheral, vascular, and neuro-interventional procedures, utilizing your expertise in imaging, monitoring, and scrub assisting techniques.

Quality Assurance : Maintain a safe and efficient patient environment by adhering to established protocols and best practices in interventional radiology.

Qualifications & Experience :

Required :

Formal training in radiology procedures or equivalent education / experience.

Current California Radiologic Technologist license.

National Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT) certification.

One of the following certifications within 1 year of hire :

National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI)

National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-RESUME)

National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI)

National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a special procedures or cardiovascular laboratory.

Preferred :

Active participation in continuing education programs.
