Academic General Nephrologist Position with Research Opportunities

Join our collegial, professional and compassionate nephrology team at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.

We are seeking a patient-focused G eneral Nephrologist to provide much needed specialized care to our patients suffering from a plethora of kidney-related ailments.

Position Details : Â

• Work-life balance with standard schedule and shared call coverage amongst the entire nephrology teamÂ
• Split inpatient and outpatient coverage, including : Inpatient rounding on nephrology patients Participation in PKD and CKD clinics
• Dialysis and clinic outreach in outlying, suburban communities
• Faculty appointment with the Indiana University School of Medicine with expectation to educate and supervise residents and fellows, with research opportunities available if desired

Qualifications :

• Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
• Internal Medicine residency & Nephrology fellowship completions
• New graduates or experienced physicians encouraged to apply
• Physician MD / DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
• Visa sponsorship available; H1B only
