Position Summary

Ecology Auto Parts Inc. is seeking detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerks to join our Transportation Administration Team.

This role is vital in supporting the Transportation Department, focusing on accurate data entry of driver log data, preparation of payroll files, and assistance with customer service.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met weekly for payroll and invoicing while providing critical support to the team.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required for this role to effectively assist our Spanish-speaking drivers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter driver log data and customer data into the company’s ERP systems and databases.
• Prepare data for payroll processing, ensuring driver timesheets and logs are correct and submitted on time.
• Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure timely and accurate driver payroll processing.
• Compile and prepare invoices for customers, ensuring that all billing information is accurate.
• Provide assistance with customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues, particularly with Spanish-speaking clients and drivers.
• Maintain and update existing data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all data management tasks.
• Assist in creating and formatting spreadsheets for reporting and analysis.
• Work closely with the Transportation team to provide administrative support as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking employees and customers.
• Strong work ethic with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with strong data management skills; 10-key by touch is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.
• Previous experience in payroll processing and / or customer service is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

• Regularly required to sit for long periods; use hands for data entry; reach with arms; and communicate verbally.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have close and distance vision, as well as the ability to adjust focus.
• Some local travel may be required.

7AM-4PM

Compensation

The Data Entry Clerk position offers a competitive hourly wage in the range of $18.00 to $19.00 per hour. In addition to the hourly compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, generous paid time off, and life insurance coverage.
