WE ARE SEEKING : A well-rounded Electrical Engineer who shares our entrepreneurial energy to support the team’s efforts in adapting our current systems into commercial products.

In your role, your duties and responsibility will include the following :

  • Creating electrical designs based on functional specifications
  • Design electrical power distribution systems for power generation equipment
  • Develop electrical and automation power and control system design
  • Coordinate with other team members on project design and integration
  • Write and review equipment and installation requirements
  • Mechanical design of control panels, networks, and connectivity
  • Responsible for project management of electrical engineering tasks
  • Lead control and power troubleshooting as well as develop troubleshooting processes
  • Create and modify schematics and build packages with AutoCAD
  • Design of safety circuits
  • Prepare and communicate project cost estimates
  • Train technicians for wiring and troubleshooting system functions
  • Follow all safety training, procedures, and standards
  • Ability to conduct hands-on work which will sometimes be conducted outdoors
  • Other duties as needed

The ideal candidate should be able to meet the following requirements :

  • BS in an Electrical Engineering curriculum or 4 years or more of relevant and documented experience
  • Experience in commercial product development in an engineering environment
  • Strong electrical engineering knowledge and proficiency producing designs with AutoCAD LT
  • Knowledge of the NFPA 79 and UL 508A standards and their application
  • Willingness to support all team members and perform any job function when necessary
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a desire to get tasks done on time and without errors
  • Ability to conduct basic physical requirements of climbing ladders, work at elevated heights, ability to lift 40 lbs., and ability to use basic hand tools
  • Experience interfacing with PLC, DCS, SCADA systems a plus
