Primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service to both patients on the phone and in the office. The candidate will also assist the Office Manager with daily office responsibilities.
The candidate must be professional, outgoing, patient, warm and compassionate. Must have a strong, clear phone voice. Must enjoy working with Senior citizens and the hearing impaired.
We are looking for someone to work part-time from Monday-Thursday, 12 : 00 P.M. to 5 : 00 P.M. This position will develop into a full-time position.
Must be flexible with schedule and be willing to fill in at front desk when needed. Must have a desire to learn new skills in working with hearing aids.
Must have good organizational skills and be customer focused. Must be good at multi-tasking, prioritizing and work with a sense of urgency.
Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred or one to three years experience in customer service.
- Job Duties;
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Check patients in and out of appointments
- Schedule appointments
- Greet patients
- Make reminder phone calls
- Verify insurance benefits
- Maintains customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
