About Us :

Weld Works is a dynamic and growing architectural metals company dedicated to delivering high end services and products.

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Director of Operations to join our team and ensure our office and shop run both efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Office Management : Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Project Management : Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Scheduling : Manage job scheduling to optimize productivity and meet deadlines.
• Ordering Supplies : Handle procurement of supplies and restocking for the shop and office, with potential future responsibility for ordering project materials.
• Point of Contact : Serve as the gatekeeper and primary contact for Weld Works, including building out a call / email system for general requests management.
• Job Tracking : Monitor and maintain job progress, addressing delays and ensuring team alignment.
• Web Presence and Branding : Update product information on the website with potential to manage social media presence.
• Business Strategy : Contribute to business strategy discussions and initiatives.
• Branding : Potential involvement in company branding efforts.
• Operational Needs : Oversee the needs of both the shop and office, ensuring all operational requirements are met.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in a similar role, with strong office and project management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to be a proactive point of contact.
• Experience with web presence management and branding is a plus.
• Deadline driven, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle delays and facilitate smooth operations.
• Experience in procurement and supply chain management is advantageous.
