Job Description : Java Developer with Video Streaming or Video Transcoding experience

The project is responsible for developing automated scripts and frameworks for Set Top Boxes and CPE devices for Customers. The team partners with the NCO (National Care Organization) within Comcast which is responsible for the call centers overseas.

This particular project is partnering with NCO and the Call Center Agents for training purposes. The team tests the training modules for the Agents overseas (Singapore and India). Currently, there is no audio for the training modules. They need to re-write the scripts for training to provide audio. This is where the Video transcoding technologies come into play.

Requirements

• 7+ years of development experience in Java and / or C++
• 1-2 years’ experience with Video Streaming or Video Transcoding (Similar technologies include : VLC, Live555, Wowza, H.234, WebM, Kodak)
