Certification Details
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required
- BLS - Basic Life Support required for all clinical starts
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required as applicable
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for NICU and L&D
- Tech Cert Verification - National as applicable
- State License 1 Verification within 14 days prior to start
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- NIH Stroke Certification required as applicable
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring required for L&D RNs
Job Details

- Accepts 1st time travelers!

- Rooms / Beds 36
- Ratios - 1 : 4
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No Call requirement
- Scrubs : Royal Blue
- Patient Population : Adolescents - Geriatrics
- Must be able to work in Telemetry setting
- Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes
Job Requirements
- Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills : Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring
- Required Cardiovascular skills : Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre / Post Cardiac Cath, Pre / Post Cardiac Surgery
- Required IV Therapy / Phlebotomy Skills : Blood Product Administration, Central line care / management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
- Required Medication skills : Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration
- Required Respiratory / Thoracic Skills : Care of Chronic / Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson / Pleuravac, External CPAP / BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management
Schedule Information
- No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
- 1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved
- Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it's to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract
