Job Overview :
We are looking for an enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team near Lake Stevens, WA. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, supporting students in developing and improving their motor skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and making a direct impact on their daily lives and learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the physical therapist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve motor function and mobility in students.
- Work with students on exercises and activities that promote physical wellness and independence.
- Document progress and adjust interventions in collaboration with the supervising therapist.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all school district and state regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings to discuss students' progress and therapy goals.
Qualifications :
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Washington State licensure or eligibility.
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication and teamwork skills.
