Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm which provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills.
One of our clients, a Manufacturing company, is currently looking for a shipping and receiving worker. This position pays $18-20 hourly (BOE), is onsite, and non-exempt.
Summary of Duties :
The shipping and receiving worker is responsible for the packing, shipping, receiving and other related tasks for timing handling and delivery of products.
The duties are as follows :
Receive and pack parts according to packaging standards.
Receive, prepare and handles orders received from Sales department for the customer.
Ship orders according to standard procedure.
Maintain records and documents related to orders.
Use hand and powered equipment to move product and raw materials on the floor
Use hand and powered equipment to load / unload product and raw material on / off trucks.
Observes safety of self and others at all time while performing duties. This includes keeping a clean workspace.
Reports any product, material, equipment, and safety concerns to supervisor.
Any other task as assigned.
Summary of Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent.
0-1 years’ experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, or lift truck operations.
Forklift certification (desired)
