Job Description

Basic function : receives incoming materials, verifies and performs the necessary computer transactions, and insures an orderly and timely movement of parts from receipt to shipment to customer. 2024

• Responsible for receiving and data entry of incoming materials
• Verify received goods to purchase orders as to identification, type, quantities and part numbers
• Prepare, ship & receive intercompany mail between locations.
• Deliver non-inventory items to designated employees.
• Accept receipt of containers following CTPAT guidelines
• Monitor incoming containers arriving from overseas
• Works with accounting to reconcile inventory receipts
• Generate reports for inbound containers and other various reports as needed
• Maintain records, filing systems and reference manuals
• Unload parcel shipments (as needed)
• Yard check audits
• Manage various SAP inventory functions
• Answer telephone calls in a timely manner, direct calls and take messages
• Operate self-sufficiently and desire to learn new processes
• Perform routine clerical functions
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Inventory control experience strongly preferred
• Proficient with quality assurance checks
• Working knowledge of RF Scanners / System a plus
• SAP experience is a plus
• Warehouse experience is a plus
• Shift
• 1st Shift Full Time : Monday Friday
• $20.00 / hour
