Description
Seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a full time night shift position at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, MD.
Utilize your care and experience with a team of healthcare professionals in this state of the art facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs per facility requirements
- Provide wound care, set up Ivs, and administer medications and IV fluids
- Use and monitor advanced medical equipment
- Communicate effectively to provide updates to patients, families and doctors and communicate effectively
- Be prepared for emergency situations and be aware of policies and procedures pertaining to you r position
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requires 2-3 years of Critical Care experience in an Acute Care hospital setting
ACLS and BLS certification required
Schedule is straight Night shift, (3) 12 hr. shifts per week with weekends and holidays as needed.
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license (all state licensures accepted)
