Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic R&D plan for the Seasoning Product Category.
- Identify and pursue research opportunities with significant market and customer potential.
- Partner with various teams to understand market, consumer, and customer needs.
- Address capability gaps and leverage technical strengths to drive growth.
- Oversee the R&D process to optimize the innovation portfolio across product categories, customer segments, and regions.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other departments to support technology development and commercialization.
- Ensure effective go-to-market strategies in partnership with various teams.
- Act as a thought leader in the Seasoning Product Category both internally and externally.
- Lead and manage project plans, including objectives, measurements, methodologies, and timelines.
- Engage with external partners such as suppliers, academia, and consultants.
- Work with Regulatory, Nutrition, and Legal teams to evaluate new ingredients and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of technical or scientific development experience in the seasoning or food industry.
- 2-3 years of experience in people management.
- Expertise in seasoning processing, food safety, and formula design.
- Excellent project planning, management, and execution capabilities.
- Ability to conduct complex experiments and provide direction to scientists.
- Demonstrated experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 35%.
