Summary Energy Transfer is looking for a Manager to join our Accounts Payable Shared Services team in Dallas. We encourage a culture of inquiry by always asking why, transforming data into meaningful information, and leveraging technology to streamline our processes. Manage the Accounts Payable team by providing leadership, direction, coaching and constructive feedback in order to develop and optimize team strengths. Education and / or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Education : Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required or equivalent experience. Experience : Minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable work experience desired. Overall 8+ years of experience. Required Skills o SAP Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounting transactions o Understanding of business transactions and appropriate accounting and payables procedures o Ability to effectively lead a team and manage projects in a collaborative fast paced team-oriented environment o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills o Expertise with Excel and other Microsoft applications o Available to work overtime during peak periods Technical Skills : o Strong computer skillset, to include intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Access experience is preferred but not required Preferred Qualifications : OpenText experience or similar workflow system and ServiceNow ticketing system or similar
Working Conditions The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
