Job Summary :
In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing individualized direct preoperative care to in- and outpatients. Using your expertise, you will assess patient needs, develop comprehensive care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individualized care requirements
- Develop and implement tailored care plans to address patient needs
- Provide education to patients and families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care coordination
Requirements :
Current RN licensure in the state of practiceAt least 2 years of experience in surgery, perioperative, or critical care settingsBasic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferredPhysical Demands :
Prolonged standing and walking during each shiftAbility to push, pull, and / or lift 50 pounds regularly
