Quality Inspectors Needed ASAP for Leading Aerospace Company in Portland, CT!

We are seeking dedicated Quality Inspectors to join our aerospace company in Portland, CT. As a Quality Inspector, you will be instrumental in upholding our rigorous standards, ensuring every detail meets the highest expectations.

Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will make a significant impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Approval : Conduct thorough visual and measurement tests to confirm that in-process and finished products adhere to specifications.

Compliance Verification : Review purchase orders, special process certifications, operation sheets, blueprints, and other documentation to ensure complete compliance with all requirements.

Dimensional Layout Inspection : Execute complex inspections based on operation sheets and blueprints to verify dimensional accuracy.

Documentation : Complete Inspection Method Sheets and ensure special process certifications align with part specifications.

First Article Inspection (FAI) : Perform 1st piece / FAI inspections, with familiarity in Inspection Xpert / Net-Inspect being a notable advantage.

Aerospace Inspector Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 3 years as a quality inspector in Aerospace, Medical, or a similar industry.

Technical Proficiency : Strong ability to analyze manufacturing methods and procedures, with a focus on GD&T.

Interpersonal Skills : Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills combined with strong analytical and shop math abilities.

Software Knowledge : Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with layout tools is a plus.

Working Hours :

Weekly Hours : 40-45 hours per week

Shift : 4 : 30 PM - 1 : 00 AM (We may have an early shift open, too)

Employment Type : Full-Time, On-site

Compensation and Benefits :

Salary : 20-26 per hour, based on experience

Sign-On Bonus : Up to 1500 after successful completion of a 90-day introductory period
