This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic educational team on a 36-week contract for the 24-25 school year with competitive weekly compensation up to $2700 based on experience.
Job Description :
- Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
- Intervention Planning : Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific speech and language needs.
- Therapeutic Services : Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaboration : Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication needs and promote academic success.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding student outcomes.
- IEP Participation : Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert insights and recommendations.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Valid Texas SLP license.
- Updated resume highlighting relevant experience and skills.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
