ABA Behavioral Technician - School Setting

Are you passionate about supporting students with behavioral needs in their efforts to succeed in a school setting? Ro Health is hiring for a qualified Behavioral Technician to work with the Oakland School District for the 23-24 school year!

This role focuses on providing behavioral support in a school setting, specifically leverage implementation of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), with students ranging in grade level from pre-K to high school.

It it a great benefit if you have previous experience supporting students with special needs and have worked in a 1 : 1 or 1 : multiple capacity

Responsibilities / Duties :

• Implement behavior treatment programs as designed by the Behavior Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Take data on student performance to monitor behavior or skilled based progress
• Assist students in achieving academic success
• Personal care
• Collaborate with special education / general education teachers, administrators and Behavior Analysts
• Perform related duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or the equivalent, and
• Two years of college (48 units), or
• A. A. degree (or higher), or
• Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction.
• The ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting
• Reliable Transportation and Communication
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred

Salary : $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
