Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission)

    • \n

  • 13-week assignment length

    • \n

  • Weekend hours as required by facility

    • \n

  • No call requirements

    • \n

  • Float requirements : None

    • \n

  • Patient ratios : 4 : 1 routinely (ratios may vary during surge and other circumstances)

    • \n

  • Work in 68-bed Emergency Department

    • \n

  • Use EPIC electronic medical records system

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA only; TNCC; NIHSS (may obtain prior to start)

    • \n

  • Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri)

    • \n

  • 1 year Emergency Department experience in Level 1 trauma center OR 2 years in Level 2 trauma facility required

    • \n

  • Experience with trauma / pediatrics, 200+ patients per day, and high acuity preferred

    • \n

  • Work in busy urban trauma center treating all age groups

    • \n

  • Dress code : Black scrubs required

    • \n

  • Utilize nursing process for patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

    • \n

  • Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments

    • \n

  • Physical requirements include standing / walking most of shift, lifting / pushing up to 50 lbs

    • \n

  • Block schedules cannot be accommodated

    • \n

  • RTO must be made up and will not be approved in first week
