Transmission Line Project Engineer

Overview

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Small Utilities team in Fort Worth, TX. Our team believes in serving our clients in all their power delivery needs with honesty and integrity. Training will be provided!

Responsibilities

• As a Transmission Line Project Engineer, you'll be entrusted with developing our team members, leading projects, advocating for our clients, and nurturing current connections. Your role will consist of spearheading transmission line design projects for electric cooperative, municipal, and public utility district clients while embodying our commitment to serving local public power utilities. The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for overseeing and executing projects within our department and developing team members in transmission design capabilities.
• Take the helm on transmission projects while providing guidance and support to junior engineers and designers
• Formulate project scope documents, establish budgets, and create and maintain schedules
• Chair clients project meetings and facilitate effective communication between clients, managers, and internal teams to ensure project alignment with requirements, scope and schedule
• Address client inquiries spanning various technical areas and appropriately manage client expectations
