Job Summary :

The Electrician Crew Leader is responsible for the installation and modification of electrical systems in new construction homes after the rough-in stage. This includes installing or replacing customer-requested wiring changes, as well as adding or removing power, switches, lighting, and other electrical components.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction
Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications.
Maintaining safe work environment for the crew.

Required Skills / Abilities :

Accuracy with measurements

Ability to scale prints and properly read prints

Ability to multitask

Electrical knowledge to rewire existing work to current code and needs.

Residential electrical knowledge and skillset

Properly filling out work orders

Reporting findings to supervisor or management.

Education and Experience :

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Must have basic electrical knowledge.

Must have basic construction safety knowledge.

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times.

Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders and digging

Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.

Must be able to work in confined spaces and attic work.

Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time.

Must be able to work outside in all types of weather, including high temperature and under the sun.

Must have clean driving record.
