Who You Are

As part of the Global Procurement & Subcontract team at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics you'll fulfil the role of a Subcontract Program Manager.

What You Will Be Doing

You'll be leading the identification of potential risks, development of comprehensive mitigation plans, and executing those plans to minimize potential risks for multiple suppliers and metallic built-to-print commodities.

You'll make decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor, establish milestone objectives, and manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications;

all while leading collaborative initiatives with engineers, procurement, and quality teams.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of subcontract management principles, practices, and procedures
• Experience in managing metallic built-to-print commodities
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute project plans to minimize potential risks, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Experience utilizing continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies and implementing effective solutions
• Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, presenting to executive leadership, building consensus and shaping / influencing opinion

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $118,100 - $226,400.

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
