About The Position

Postion Summary :

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will independently perform a wide range of general nuclear medicine studies and SPECT / CT procedures. As the sole technologist in the department, this role requires a highly skilled professional who is immediately functional and able to manage all aspects of daily operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and timely diagnostic imaging services.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, with heavy emphasis on cardiac studies, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

Conduct general studies including bone scans, renal, HIDA, gastric emptying, thyroid, lymphoscintigraphy, parathyroid, and cardiacs

Operate Siemens Symbia Intevo Excel SPECT / CT equipment for imaging procedures

Maintain compliance with radiation safety practices and proper handling of radiopharmaceuticals

Accurately document procedures and patient information in Epic and Philips iSite PACS systems

Provide patient care, preparation, and positioning for optimal imaging results

Ensure quality control and functionality of equipment

Qualifications

Special Requirement : Must be able to work independently as the only technologist in the department
