Job Opportunity : Full-Time Special Education Teacher (Contract)
Location : Twin Falls, Idaho
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for a full-time contract position in Twin Falls, Idaho.
We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all requirements set by local and state regulations and possess a passion for working with special education students and their families.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education in Idaho, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations.
- Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher, with a strong preference for experience with special education students and families.
Job Duties :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, addressing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals.
- Provide differentiated instruction tailored to individual student needs, utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies and accommodations.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student success in inclusive classroom settings.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress, analyze data, and make data-driven instructional decisions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress, discuss goals and strategies, and address concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, IEP meetings, and communication with stakeholders.
