About The Position
Job Title : Support Technician Job Specialty : Surgical Services Support Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : Full-time Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Not specified Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) required Must-Have : Must work 2 major holidays of the 3 : Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday : The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
Job Description : Clean and service rooms, remove waste, and perform special projects as assigned.- Inventory and restock supplies on the unit, and obtain supplies and rental units.
- Provide support to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and caregivers by performing simple patient care activities.
- Perform various tasks and duties to provide assistance and support in an expanded Support Tech role to the staff in Surgical Services.
