Responsibilities Position is in the Operating Room with emphasis on OBGYN, some robotics, and some urology cases Work with adult to geriatric patient populations Department manages 4 ORs and averages approximately 15 cases per day Uses Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR systems Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 6 : 45 to 19 : 15 Requires working every other weekend Floating to Main OR may occur on rare occasions On-call required : 1 week per schedule period Scrubs are provided by the facility Must be available to submit core documentation and complete or schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract Full compliance is required to start on time, and orientation modules are completed during onboarding Travel pairs are not permitted on the same shift or unit Return travelers must complete a successful assignment outside of the Piedmont system before returning if previously unable to return RTO is limited to 7 days and cannot be taken during the first week Holiday coverage is required as outlined, with limited holiday RTO requests considered based on the number of holidays during the assignment Local candidates are accepted at the same rate Requirements Active GA or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration Minimum of 2 years OR nursing experience required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP Experience in Epic charting system required Two supervisory references (manager or above) are highly preferred Must be away from all Piedmont facilities for 1 year if previously employed as perm / PRN before returning as traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625502.
