Our client in Downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join the teamDuties : - Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring optimal coverage and client satisfaction- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and craft comprehensive proposals tailored to client needs- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters- Collaborate regularly with Producers and team members to ensure accuracy and currency of client proposals and renewals- Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate coverage options, demonstrating a keen understanding of each client's unique circumstances- Conduct thorough policy reviews to guarantee precision and compliance- Accompany Producers on client meetings as necessary, providing support and expertise as a subject matter expert- Facilitate the binding of insurance coverage and the timely delivery of all associated documents, including binders, certificates, and policies- Manage invoice payments for each client, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and adherence to established processes- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally, offering guidance on insurance, claims, or administrative matters- Prepare concise summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed, ensuring clarity and comprehension for clients and prospects alike- Review policy audits meticulously, rectifying any inaccuracies and maintaining meticulous records- Maintain an organized suspense system to monitor outstanding items, correspondence, and reports, fostering efficiency and accountability within the team- Keep electronic files up-to-date and easily accessible, facilitating smooth operations and seamless collaboration- Participate in special projects as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader goals of the department- Cross-train with fellow Account Managers to expand knowledge and proficiency within the Commercial Lines Department- Keep up with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, continuously enhancing expertise and service delivery- Collaborate closely with team members to achieve departmental objectives and meet targets effectively- Adhere to agency Errors & Omissions (E&O) guidelines diligently, mitigating risks and upholding professional standards at all timesRequirements : - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- PA P&C License required.- 5+ years of Commercial Lines Experience handling complex accounts.- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, database management- Ability to navigate and utilize agency software.
- Professional Designations a Plus.
