Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, holidays according to unit needs Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 hours per week Experience : Experience with tracheostomies, endotracheal tubes (ETT), and administering drips License : Registered Nurse License Certifications : COVID vaccine, COVID booster (medical declination accepted for booster), Flu vaccine (medical declination accepted) Must-Have : ICU skill set preferred Job Description : Stepdown level in the critical care division handling fresh tracheostomies, levophed, stable intubations, mild sedation, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).
- Orientation occurs every other week.- Union hospital requires travelers to float first; potential for floating up to three times per shift based on staffing assessments every four hours.
